Aloe Vera Plant Fell Apart
As we said at the beginning of the article, the most common reason why an aloe vera plant might start to fall apart is because of the stress it’s experiencing. It can be caused by a variety of different things and one of the most common ones is poor soil.
The soil is the life and blood of the plant and the reason it can continue to grow. We therefore really need to make sure that the plant has the best possible place to grow in.
We often recommend that you try and keep the soil somewhat damp. That will let the roots get the necessary amount of sunlight that they need and not be overwhelmed by the water content in the soil.
But other than that we also want healthy soil rich in plenty of nutrients. That means that we might have to fertilize the soil every now and again. We follow a schedule of doing that about every 3 to 4 months.
That will leave enough room for the plant to almost finish the nutrients and you won’t run the risk of over-fertilizing which can cause the plant to fall apart and cause root rot.
Are you curious about whether you can smoke aloe vera or not? In this article right here we will be discussing the option of doing that and the reasons why Can You Smoke Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera Plant Broke Off At Root
If your aloe vera plant has begun to break at where the root is in the soil then there is unfortunately very little hope left for your plant. This is essentially the main stem of the entire plant and where all the nutrients and energy is passing through.
When that breaks the plant sort of needs to begin all over again. But if the soil has been kept very healthy and nutrient-rich then we might have a chance that the plant can once again grow into its former self.
We recommend that you leave the plant in a somewhat sunny area and make sure the soil is never drying out. If we are lucky then we might actually have a small sprouting come forth from where the roots are.
No plant wants to die off and they will continue to fight to stay healthy and growing. So the chances are a lot higher if your plant has had a healthy life so far.

Aloe Vera Plant Falling Over
If your aloe vera plant is starting to fall over then you need to have a look at the roots. Are they pushing upwards creating an imbalance? That can be a serious concern.
It means the roots aren’t getting enough water and nutrients. Ensure that the soil is somewhat damp and you have a schedule of fertilizing the soil about every 3 – 4 months or so.
