What can we then do to make sure there aren’t a lot of worms coming in contact with your worms? The first and most simple step is that you shouldn’t let them sit for too long. Instead, try and eat them before anything like this happens.

Like we have said in the beginning of this article already if you have accidentally eaten a peach with worms in it then you don’t have to worry. most likely nothing will happen.

But this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be careful about eating fruits. If you are unsure and have a very ripe fruit then having a second look might be a good idea. As we said, when there are plenty of sugars in the fruit then it will attract more and more insects to start infesting it.

We find that the best use if you were to have some fruits with worms, is to throw them in compost. This way we can get some use of it even though we can’t actually eat the fruit.
