Succulent Turning Soft
If your succulent plant is starting to soften then you will definitely want to look at the soil the plant is growing in. Is it very watery or almost soggy? Then it has definitely gotten too much.
With succulent plants, and this basically applies to all of them, then you can water them too much. The roots of the plant are very susceptible to too much water and will start to rot.
If you keep it like this too much then the health of the plant will quickly start to deteriorate. But thankfully there are a few things that you can do about it to hopefully make it recover somewhat.
Place the plant in a very sunny spot to make the soil start drying up quicker. Make sure that it gets between at least 8 – 10 hours to get the soil drying up.

Save An Overwatered Succulent
Saving an overwatered succulent plant can be very difficult since getting the water out of the soil is hard. But the best practice is to simply just place the plant in a spot where the sun is shining a lot.
That technique will hopefully make the soil dry up quickly enough to hinder any progress of rot that might happen on the roots of the plant.
But preventing the plant from overwatering can also be done. Here we recommend that you choose a pot to grow in that has a hole in the bottom. This will lead any water out that doesn’t need to be in the soil.
